Serve at Church
Worship
Serve as a liturgist or usher during Sunday worship. Throughout the year, we also welcome help with seasonal decorating of the sanctuary to reflect the beauty and meaning of each liturgical season.
Missions
Our church partners with four local mission organizations (listed under “Serve Our Community” below), but our commitment to sharing God’s love extends beyond those partnerships. We support UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) in responding to national and global disasters, assemble care packages for those in need, participate in hands-on mission opportunities, and seek new ways to serve our neighbors near and far.
Trustees
Our Trustees plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance and renovation projects for our church facilities. This vital work supports the hundreds of people who use our building each week, including three schools and many community groups.
Education
Our Children’s and Youth Ministries are growing! We are always grateful for volunteers who are willing to serve families and help make each Sunday meaningful and engaging. If you feel called to support our Children’s Ministry, please contact Britany, our Director of Children’s Ministry.
Outreach
Our church hosts several community outreach events each year, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, and Crafting with Santa. These are wonderful opportunities to serve our neighbors and provide a safe, joyful experience for children and their families.
Leadership Team
Our Leadership Team prayerfully coordinates and guides the ministries of our church. Each fall, we nominate and elect leaders for the coming year. If you are interested in sharing your gifts through leadership, please contact Pastor Arum.
Serve our Community
Casa Chirilagua is our primary community partner. Their mission is to develop relationships with families to see the Chirilagua neighborhood transformed by Christ.
There are several ways to get involved on an ongoing basis.
We also collaborate on several events each year, including hosting a family dinner night, packing lunches for a beach trip, and providing physical supplies for their back to school drive and Christmas events!
