Winter Study: The Psalms.
8 Weeks. Thursdays, Jan 26-Mar 15, 7:30 to 9PM in room 203. An Efird Bible Study, this course examines the 10 types of Psalms, why they were written, and how they were used. We’ll find kindred spirits as we struggle to affirm our trust in God in the face of the ills of the world, while learning to use the Psalms as guides for our own writing & praying. We will acquire a new love for these love songs to God. Participant books ($12) are available through the church office.
Bible Challenge
Ever wanted to read the Bible, cover to cover, but felt that you needed some guidance? In 2012, we’ll offer two “Bible Challenges.” Challenge One: Read the whole Bible in 2012 (roughly 1,000 pages). Challenge Two: Read the whole New Testament in 2011 (roughly 200 pages). Everyone who signs up for a challenge will receive a reading plan/guide and be linked online with the other Del Ray members in the challenge for ongoing questions, reflection, & support. In person discussion sessions will be held every three months.
Prayer Group
The Wednesday Morning Prayer Group would love to have you join in the prayer meetings in the church parlor on Wednesdays at 10 AM.
Our Christian Education Hour

1) Nursery: Infants through age 4 enjoy a safe, nurturing environment.
2) Drama Club (ages 5 through high school): 3rd Floor Playroom. Children & youth learn & grow in faith through the fun medium of drama! Periodic performances during worship. No previous drama experience necessary.
3) Topical, Biblical Conversations: We’re studying the gospel of Mark. Room 207 On break DEC 25 ~JAN 8. Bring a friend!
5) Bread For the Journey: Welcomes moms, dads, grandparents & all who nurture children’s souls for Breathing Lessons JAN 8 ~ FEB 12. Join this spiritual parenting conversation in Room 200.
