“Sing joyfully to the Lord,
you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to
him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to
him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.”
Our mission in the music ministry is to praise God with our gifts. We are to serve him by our love of music and love of worshiping him. You don’t have to possess the world’s most beautiful voice or be a whiz at ringing bells. Just come with a servant’s heart and a willingness to praise God. While we have an excellent and dedicated core group for our choir and our hand bell choir, we are always eager to welcome new members. So please consider joining us. If you aren’t sure that you have the time, come for a month or so to try things out. Choir practice is Tuesdays at 7:15 PM, and Hand Bell Choir is Mondays at 7 PM. Hope to see you then!

All groups and opportunities are open also to your family and friends who are not members of Del Ray United Methodist Church as long as they are willing to make the necessary time and energy commitments.
